We may collect other information reasonably related to our operations, services, business relationships, security, administration, legal obligations, or other lawful business purposes.
4. Information You Should Not Submit
Our general website and estimate forms are not intended as secure repositories for unnecessary highly sensitive information.
Unless specifically requested and necessary for the relevant purpose, users should not submit Social Security numbers; complete bank-account information; complete credit- or debit-card numbers; passwords, PINs, or financial credentials; passports or government identification; tax returns; detailed medical records; privileged legal communications; intimate images; unnecessary information concerning minors; or another person’s sensitive information without authority to provide it.
Submitting information that was not requested does not impose obligations on Junk Response beyond those imposed by applicable law or expressly accepted in writing. Junk Response has no obligation to inspect every submission in advance for unnecessary, confidential, privileged, proprietary, or sensitive information.
5. Responsibility for Submitted Information
The person submitting information is responsible for reviewing the material before submission and determining that the submission is appropriate.
By submitting information, photographs, videos, documents, or files, you represent that you have the right, authority, permission, or other lawful basis necessary to provide the material to Junk Response and permit the processing described in this Policy, including submissions made on behalf of property owners, tenants, estates, beneficiaries, employers, businesses, property managers, landlords, lenders, contractors, customers, or other third parties.
Junk Response is not responsible for a submitter’s unauthorized disclosure of another person’s information or confidential material.
6. How Information May Be Used
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Junk Response may use information for purposes including responding to requests; preparing estimates; analyzing photographs or property conditions; classifying jobs; estimating labor or service requirements; determining possible disposal, access, demolition, or specialty requirements; scheduling and performing work; communicating with customers and prospective customers; administering commercial accounts; preparing estimates, scopes, contracts, invoices, and other records; processing or administering payments; customer service; documenting property conditions or completed work; maintaining account and job histories; analytics; quality control; pricing development; operational analysis; employee or contractor training; service improvement; software testing; development or evaluation of business tools; fraud detection; security; collections; insurance matters; dispute resolution; litigation; legal compliance; recordkeeping; marketing and business development as permitted by law; protecting Junk Response’s rights, property, personnel, customers, or operations; and other lawful business purposes.
7. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Processing
Junk Response may use artificial intelligence, computer vision, machine learning, algorithms, automation, and other software-assisted technologies (“Automated Tools”).
Automated Tools may process any information reasonably relevant to the task for which the system is used, including photographs, files, property information, service descriptions, customer communications, and information derived from those materials.
Automated Tools may be used to identify or classify visible items or materials; analyze photographs; estimate relative quantities or complexity; identify possible heavy or unusual items; identify potential access or handling considerations; identify possible contamination, demolition, or specialty conditions; extract information; summarize information; classify requests; generate recommendations; support estimates or price ranges; create or assist with scopes or communications; identify missing or inconsistent information; route service requests; analyze operational data; test or improve workflows; evaluate software or models; support quality control; assist customer service; and support other lawful business purposes.
Use of Automated Tools may occur before, during, or after a service request.
8. Authorization for AI and Technology Processing
By submitting information through Junk Response’s website, estimate process, communications channels, or services, the submitter authorizes Junk Response and its service providers to process the submitted information as described in this Policy to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Processing may include transmitting, uploading, storing, copying, analyzing, extracting, transforming, classifying, summarizing, comparing, generating derived information, generating automated output, and otherwise processing information using software, cloud services, Automated Tools, or other technology.
Information may be transmitted to or processed by third-party technology providers in connection with these activities.
9. Automated Output and Estimates
Automated Tools can make mistakes. Automated analysis may fail to recognize, misidentify, misunderstand, underestimate, or overestimate quantities, object types, dimensions, material composition, weight, hidden items, access conditions, structural conditions, contamination, hazards, disposal requirements, labor requirements, or other relevant conditions.
Automated outputs, preliminary estimates, ranges, classifications, summaries, or recommendations are based on the information made available to the applicable system. They do not constitute a guarantee, warranty, professional inspection, environmental determination, safety determination, regulated-waste determination, or representation that every relevant condition has been identified.
Conditions not photographed, disclosed, visible, accessible, or otherwise provided to Junk Response have not necessarily been evaluated merely because Automated Tools were used.
10. Human and Automated Decision-Making
Except where applicable law requires otherwise, Junk Response may use automated processing, human review, a combination of automated processing and human review, or other methods selected by Junk Response in connection with estimates, classifications, routing, communications, operational decisions, pricing assistance, or other business activities.
Junk Response is not required to provide human review of an automated output except where required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing. Junk Response may accept, reject, modify, supplement, disregard, or override an automated result.
Actual property conditions and an applicable final written estimate, contract, scope, or change order control over preliminary website information or automated output.
11. Information Derived Through AI and Other Systems
Junk Response may create information derived from submitted materials, including labels, classifications, estimates, structured data, summaries, annotations, measurements, scores, metadata, operational statistics, model outputs, and other derived information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Junk Response may use derived, aggregated, statistical, transformed, or de-identified information for lawful business purposes, including analytics, operations, research, development, training, service improvement, software evaluation, pricing analysis, and business development.
12. Third-Party AI and Technology Providers
Junk Response may use third-party providers for artificial intelligence, cloud computing, hosting, data storage, website operation, customer management, communications, analytics, automation, payment processing, accounting, file processing, security, software, and other operational functions.
Information may be transmitted to, stored by, or processed by those providers. Such processing may be subject to the provider’s terms, privacy policies, service agreements, technical architecture, data-retention practices, security practices, system-development practices, subprocessors, configuration, and applicable law.
Except where applicable law or a separate written agreement specifically requires otherwise, Junk Response does not guarantee any third party’s security, confidentiality, availability, accuracy, retention period, deletion practices, server location, model behavior, continued operation, terms of service, data-use practices, or future practices.
Third-party providers may perform processing reasonably permitted under their applicable terms, configurations, or law. Junk Response’s obligations concerning service providers are limited to obligations imposed by applicable law and obligations expressly undertaken by Junk Response in writing.
13. AI Training, Testing, Development, and Improvement
To the extent permitted by applicable law, information or information derived from customer interactions may be used in connection with testing, evaluating, configuring, improving, developing, validating, or monitoring Junk Response’s own workflows, tools, processes, analytics, estimating methods, pricing methods, automation, or other business systems.
Third-party providers may separately process information according to the terms, settings, and legal requirements applicable to their services.
This Policy does not guarantee that every technology provider uses information in the same manner, retains information for the same period, or provides identical options concerning system development or model improvement.
Users who do not want unnecessary personal information processed by Automated Tools should avoid including unnecessary information in service submissions.
14. Incidental Information and AI Inferences
Property photographs and files may reveal information unrelated to the requested service. Automated Tools may technically detect, classify, derive, or infer information appearing in submitted materials.
Junk Response does not represent that its systems or third-party technology providers are technically incapable of detecting or deriving any particular category of information. All processing remains subject to applicable law. Users should therefore avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information.
15. Commercial, Analytics, Marketing, and Website Technologies
Junk Response may use cookies, pixels, analytics, logs, advertising technology, session information, tracking technology, or similar systems to the extent used by Junk Response or its website and technology providers.
These technologies may be used for website operation, security, analytics, functionality, performance, attribution, advertising, marketing, understanding website activity, measuring campaigns, improving services, or other lawful business purposes.
Third parties involved in these technologies may collect or process information according to their own terms and policies. Where applicable law requires a notice, consent mechanism, opt-out mechanism, or other choice, Junk Response will provide what applicable law requires.
16. Communications
Junk Response may use submitted contact information to communicate regarding inquiries, estimates, scheduling, services, access, job status, documentation, contracts, invoices, payments, collections, customer support, commercial-account matters, promotions, or other business communications permitted by applicable law.
Marketing communications are subject to applicable law.
17. Payment Information
Payment processing may be provided through third-party processors. Users should submit payment credentials only through payment methods designated for that purpose. Third-party payment providers may independently collect and process payment information under their own terms and policies.
18. Property Access and Security Information
Customers may provide access-related information including keys, lockbox information, gate instructions, access codes, alarm procedures, or building instructions.
Such information may be processed as reasonably necessary for service, administration, recordkeeping, security, or other lawful purposes. Customers are responsible for determining whether temporary credentials or access instructions should be changed after service.
19. Publicity, Photographs, and Media
Submitting photographs through an estimate or service-request process does not, by itself, determine the parties’ rights concerning all possible public or promotional uses.
Public, advertising, promotional, portfolio, testimonial, social-media, training, or other media use may be governed by an applicable service agreement, media authorization, consent, other permission, de-identification, applicable law, or another agreement or lawful basis.
This Privacy Policy does not override a separate media-release provision or written authorization.
20. Disclosure of Information
Junk Response may disclose information to third parties where reasonably related to lawful business purposes, including service providers, contractors, subcontractors, disposal or recycling facilities, laboratories, insurers, attorneys, accountants, payment processors, technology providers, customer-management providers, communications providers, property owners, authorized commercial-account representatives, governmental authorities, or other persons or organizations involved in a transaction or service.
Information may also be disclosed at the direction or authorization of the submitter; to perform or administer services; to enforce agreements; for collections; for fraud or security matters; in connection with insurance claims; to establish or defend legal rights; to comply with legal process; as permitted or required by law; in an emergency; or in connection with a business transaction.
21. Business Transactions
Information may be disclosed, transferred, assigned, or otherwise made available in connection with an actual or contemplated sale, merger, acquisition, financing, investment, restructuring, reorganization, transfer of assets, bankruptcy, diligence process, or similar business transaction.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy restricts such transfers except as required by applicable law or a separate written agreement.
22. Security
Junk Response will maintain safeguards to the extent required by applicable law.
No website, network, transmission method, storage system, software provider, AI platform, cloud service, or other technology can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Junk Response does not warrant or guarantee that information will never be lost, accessed, intercepted, disclosed, altered, corrupted, destroyed, or used without authorization.
Nothing in this Policy expands statutory security duties to information or circumstances not covered by applicable law.
23. Security Incidents
Junk Response’s obligations following a security incident are governed by applicable law and any applicable written agreement.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy creates additional notice, investigation, remediation, monitoring, reimbursement, credit-monitoring, or other incident-response duties beyond those otherwise required.
24. Retention
Junk Response may retain information for as long as Junk Response determines reasonably necessary or useful for its lawful business purposes, subject to applicable law.
Relevant purposes may include service administration, customer history, estimating, accounting, taxation, insurance, legal compliance, dispute resolution, collections, fraud prevention, security, quality assurance, litigation, legal holds, analytics, operational development, backups, and business records.
Different systems and providers may maintain information for different periods. Deletion from one system may not delete information from backups, archives, system logs, security records, legal holds, third-party systems, records required or permitted to be retained, or information that has been aggregated or de-identified.
Where applicable law imposes a specific retention limitation, that legal requirement controls.
25. Privacy Requests and Legal Rights
Junk Response will provide privacy rights, choices, disclosures, or responses to the extent required by applicable law. Junk Response may, but is not obligated to, honor additional requests in its discretion.
Requests may be subject to identity verification, authority verification, applicable exceptions, recordkeeping requirements, fraud-prevention needs, security considerations, contractual obligations, legal holds, litigation, claims, accounting, taxes, insurance, collections, and other grounds permitted by law.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy grants a right of access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, appeal, opt-out, or similar right where applicable law does not require such a right.
26. No Fiduciary, Privileged, or Special Confidential Relationship
Submission of information to Junk Response does not create an attorney-client relationship, physician-patient relationship, fiduciary relationship, financial-adviser relationship, professional privilege, evidentiary privilege, or other special confidential relationship unless applicable law or a separate signed written agreement expressly provides otherwise.
Users should not submit information on the assumption that communications with Junk Response carry legal, medical, financial, or other professional privilege.
27. Minors
Junk Response’s website and services are intended for adults and businesses and are not directed to children under 13.
Users should not submit unnecessary information concerning minors. Any obligations involving information concerning children are governed by applicable law.
28. Third-Party Websites and Platforms
Our website or communications may contain links to or integrations with third-party payment systems, client portals, map services, social networks, software, vendor portals, websites, or other services.
Junk Response does not control independent third-party privacy or security practices. Use of third-party services may be subject to their own policies and terms.
29. Geographic Processing
Junk Response operates primarily in the United States. Information may be stored, transmitted, or processed in the United States or in other locations in which Junk Response or its service providers operate infrastructure.
Users accessing the site from another jurisdiction are responsible for understanding that information may be processed outside their jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
30. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Junk Response may amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes may become effective when posted or on another date stated in the updated Policy.
Junk Response is not obligated to provide individual notice of changes unless applicable law requires such notice. Where applicable law requires consent, notice, an opt-out opportunity, or another procedure in connection with a particular change, the applicable legal requirement controls.
31. No Waiver of Legal Rights
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to waive any right that applicable law prohibits a person from waiving. If a provision of this Policy conflicts with a non-waivable requirement of applicable law, the legal requirement controls to the extent of the conflict.
